Our Team

Hyder Lashari ( Co ordinator)

Hyder Lashari stands among the prominent Sindhi social thinkers, scholars and writers of contemporary Sindh. He is widely recognized as a leading interpreter and advocate of Paigham-i-Sindh (The Message of Sindh), a philosophy rooted in the universal values of peace, love, non-violence, coexistence, non-alignment, the right to self-determination, social justice, and human dignity. Through this intellectual framework, Mr. Lashari promotes world unity, global peace, and human development while remaining deeply connected to Sindh’s historical identity and moral traditions.

Throughout his intellectual and public life, Mr. Lashari has remained committed to advancing justice, democracy, tolerance, and the rights of the people of Sindh within the broader context of universal human rights and global harmony. His work builds a bridge between the local and the global, emphasizing that cultural identity.

and world unity are not opposing forces, but complementary paths toward lasting peace.A prolific writer and dedicated researcher, Mr. Lashari has authored 17 books, of which 9 have been published, along with hundreds of articles, including scholarly research papers and constitutional writings. His work addresses social issues, history, governance, and human rights, and has been published in multiple languages, particularly Sindhi and Urdu. His writings are studied within civil society and among the global Sindhi diaspora.

What distinguishes Mr.Hyder Lashari as a thinker is his rare combination of scholarship and social responsibility. His voice in South Asian intellectual and political discourse emphasizes justice through dialogue, peace through understanding, and identity through dignity. By advocating non-violence, pluralism, and humane governance, he has emerged as a moral and intellectual guide for those seeking equitable development and respectful coexistence in an increasingly divided world.

Mr. Lashari’s ideas have also inspired institutional and collective initiatives, including Sindh Studies efforts aimed at promoting Paigham-i-Sindh globally, preserving Sindh’s cultural and linguistic heritage, addressing systemic inequalities, and advocating for the rights of marginalized communities. In this way, his legacy extends beyond writing to shaping movements, research agendas, and public consciousness grounded in peace, justice, and human dignity.

He founded the Sindh Studies Board – North America (SSBNA) on 18 October 2024 and currently serves as its Coordinator. SSBNA represents a continuation of the intellectual vision of Paigham-i-Sindh, bringing together Sindhi thinkers and scholars across North America.

SSBNA functions as both an advocacy and knowledge-building institution, amplifying the voices of marginalized and underrepresented Sindhis while supporting their pursuit of justice, dignity, and self-determination within a framework of global peace. By fostering dialogue between Sindhi intellectual traditions and contemporary global discussions on human rights and development, SSBNA promotes informed understanding of Sindh’s issues.
